Adipostatin A is an inhibitor of glycerol-3-phosphate dehydrogenase. It prevents triglyceride accumulation in 3T3-L1 cells when applied at 5-7.5 µM. Adipostatin A is cytotoxic against fibroblast carcinoma KB cell lines with an IC50 value of 10.6 µM.
